Citizenship Test

Graphic showing democratic voting box

Indiana lawmakers passed a law that requires Indiana high school students to take a citizenship test in order to graduate. Students take a small sample of questions and are expected to pass with a 60% or better score. Schools not only report the scores to the DOE, but they must also post the scores on the school website. While lawmakers themselves are not required to take this test, Wabash High School students performed very well on the test in the 2022-2023 school year. 92% of the 26 Wabash High School students passed the test. Congratulations students!
